Electrophysiology Cardiologist (NTT)
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is recruiting a full-time, board-certified, or board-eligible cardiac electrophysiologist. e are a dynamic and collegial group of 18 academic cardiologists with 5 electrophysiologists at University Hospital, which includes a dedicated clinical research trials team that supports the Division’s growing clinical trials component.
Our cardiac electrophysiology program is extremely active in all simple and complex ablations ,including cryoablation and epicardial VT ablation, as well as all device procedures including lead extractions, leadless pacemakers, and conduction system pacing. We are the premier LAAO program in the region. ur program is supported by a cardiac imaging team with state-of-the-art cardiac MRI services, as well as strong structural and cardiac surgery teams. ur cardiac catheterization lab is active in TAVI, Mitral Clip, and CTO procedures. e are an accredited Level 1 STEMI center.
We are an accredited Clinical Electrophysiology Fellowship Program with 2 EP fellows, part of a Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program with 16 fellows as well as an accredited Interventional Cardiology Fellowship.
Job Details:
- Major clinical and teaching responsibilities at University Hospital, this position will involve similar responsibilities at the adjacent Truman VA Hospital.
- University Hospital and Truman VA Hospital are major referral centers for the state of Missouri and adjacent states, with 2 EP labs at University Hospital and 1 EP lab at Truman VA Hospital.
- Candidates beginning at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be considered, depending on prior experience.
Qualification:
- BC/BE in clinical cardiac electrophysiology
- BC in cardiovascular diseases
- Successful completion of ACGME-accredited fellowships in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, and cardiac electrophysiology
- Candidates with interests in clinical and translational research are strongly encouraged to apply.
