The Department of Community Practice at MU Capital Region Medical Center is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician to join our dedicated team in Jefferson City, MO. About MU Capital Region Medical Center:
Our Department of Community Practice offers a comprehensive healthcare network, including an acute care hospital, the largest clinic system in the region, an advanced Cancer Program at the Goldschmidt Cancer Center, a hospital-based fitness facility, a home health agency, and the community’s only hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation center. Our hospital has 100 acute care beds and 14 rehabilitation beds, supported by 140+ providers across 36 clinics in an 8-county service area with a population of 225,000.
As an innovative, community-oriented healthcare system, we prioritize access to the latest medical technology. MU Capital Region Medical Center is the only facility in Jefferson City with Robotic Surgery and was the first designated stroke center in the area. Our Community Practice team remains committed to industry best practices to deliver efficient, effective, and safe patient care.
Location:
Located in Missouri’s state capital, Jefferson City is a vibrant town of approximately 45,000 with a warm, community feel and was ranked #2 on Business Insider’s list of best places to move post-pandemic. Rand McNally has also named Jefferson City "America's Most Beautiful Small Town."
Work Schedule:
Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with flexibility to meet practice needs.
